Contra Costa Animal Services is hosting a two-part, Star Wars–themed event on Saturday at City Center. From 12:30–1:30pm, the free Meet & Greet offers a chance to connect with CCAS staff, learn about adoption and foster opportunities, and enjoy a trick training demonstration featuring adoptable dogs. From 1:30–2:30pm, an instructor from Equinox will lead a Puppy Yoga session alongside the shelter pups. Space for the yoga class is limited, and tickets are available by donation. To keep the environment calm for the dogs, personal pets should remain at home.
