School is just around the corner and it’s your chance to contribute in the backpack and school supplies drive sponsored by NBC Bay Area and Family Giving Tree. On Friday, July 28 from 11am-7pm, you’re invited to join in the generosity to donate and build a backpack for a Bay Area student in Alexander Square. There’ll be a DJ, lawn games, Hawaiian dance performances by Aloha Studio, a “Peacock” selfie station with the NBC logo, and more! The first 10 participants to donate a backpack with school supplies will receive a $50 gift card to La Vie Nail Bar in City Center. And the first 100 will receive a buy one, get one free card for ice cream at Salt & Straw, a free appetizer with entrée from LB Steak and $100 off a $500 purchase from Heller Jewelers.
